There are people out in the gaming community doing great things, so this page has been created to (hopefully) help increase awareness.
Community Websites
Retro Game Geeks
I spend most of my time on the Retro Game Geeks Forum which is full of friendly, interesting and knowledgeable gamers. Forums can be quite daunting at first when you are a newbie, but I found these guys and girls to be very welcoming. The main website also has a wealth of information about classic games and systems!
Colexions
Colexions is a site for collectors to share and comment on a wide range of interesting items. There is a heavy focus on retro video games (which I love!), but they do also cater for action figures, comics, cards, and… well… almost anything! This is another community which I have found to be very friendly and supportive.
GaminGuys
I mostly interact with GaminGuys on twitter, but they do also have a website. Retro Joe is affiliated with them and regularly streams retro games from the 16 and 32 bit era. They’re very knowledgeable about old games and getting them to work on modern technology.
GamesYouLoved
An online retro gaming community site with news and reviews on games from Nintendo, Sega, Atari, Commodore, Sinclair, Sony and many others. They post a lot on Twitter and Instagram. I even won a Gameboy with DuckTales (complete) in one of their competitions which was pretty cool!
